In May of 2021 we bought a really old, cute, but barely still holding together 18ft 1973 travel trailer, moved away from our friends, and pursued our dream of exploring the west. It took 7 months of hard work, everything from the wheels up was replaced and while it wasn’t perfect or pretty — It was our first home, built with our own hands, and that alone made it perfect to us. We spent 18 months living on the road in the trailer with our two pups Martha and Titus exploring, and documenting weddings all across the west from Washington to Wyoming.

Fast forward to fall 2022 we purchased a piece of land near the small town of Ephrata, Washington where we spent the majority of our time living out of our trailer and dreaming up endless possibilities of building our own home someday— But in the midst of waiting and dreaming we could see our time in the trailer come to an end, and the desire for a stationary home becoming stronger as our buisness continued to grow. We were out-growing our little tiny home on wheels, and it was time for a change.

June 2023 we moved to the small town of Tieton, Washington located just outside of Yakima. An area we fell in love with after living almost 10 years in Ellensburg, Washington — driving past the little town every winter to go skiing at White Pass. So naturally when the opportunity came to move to the area we didn’t think twice! And while we still dream about our property and miss our nomadic lifestyle — We sure do love this little rental home and all the perks that come with having more than 100 sq ft of living space (lol).

Our why

We are down to earth people with a desire to preserve the simple yet little things that make your love yours. You won’t find us using very many ‘still’ poses but rather directions on how to love each other in order to create candid movements and interactions between the two of you. Just like director’s guide actors through movie scenes — we want your photos to feel like your own personal rom com.

And we aren’t talking about awkward prom poses and forced smiles.

We’re talking about directing you in a way that helps you feel comfortable and natural in front of our cameras. Because let’s face it — if you’re like most people, you haven’t had your photo taken since your senior year of high school and the idea for getting professional photos taken makes you want to hide under a pile of rocks. And that’s totally okay! It’s why you’ve hired us.

To show you how beautiful your story is. No matter how awkward or nervous you are we promise you will leave our time together thinking “I’m so glad we did this — I can’t believe I was so worried about x,y,z”… this is our why. The ability to capture love as it is. To show you that beauty doesn’t come from epic locations or pretty poses — It came from you all along.
